  • Tremors The Series on Itunes
    All 13 episodes of Tremors The Series is now available for download on Itunes for $1.99 per episode or $24.99 for the entre season. It isn't the DVD release that many fans has been hoping for but at least it is a way for you to own a copy of Tremors The Series and watch it any time you want.
    You will need to download and install the Itunes software (if you don't already have it loaded on your computer) and then in Itunes browse to the Itunes Store, TV Showes, Tremors.
  • The Father of Short Circuit?
    S.S. Wilson has worked a deal to bring you a continuing video series he is calling, The Father of Short Circuit?. Visit our S.S. Wilson biography page and follow the link down in the Short Circuit section. It will take you to the first installment in this video series.


  • Tremors star Michael Gross selling Tremors Related Memorabilia on eBay (10/1/05)
    Michael Gross is putting up for auction much of his personal collection of Tremors and Burt Gummer related items. The auctions began October 2nd. with two items and new items will be introduced every week until they are gone. Expect two or three interesting months Tremors fans. We will be getting the heads up on new items a day or two before they get posted on eBay so check them out in our Photo Album and follow the latest news on this topic in our FanTalk forum. (To make things easy, you can set the FanTalk thread to send you e-mail notices when new messages are posted so you will know instantly what new items Mr. Gross is posting on eBay. Just view this topic then click on "watch this topic" in the lower left hand corner of the page.)

  • Tremors 4 nominated for 7 DVD Exclusive Awards (1/20/05)
    Tremors 4: The Legend begins was nominated for seven DVD Exclusive Awards.
    The Tremors award nominations in the DVD Premiere Movie category are as follows:

  • CINEFEX Covers Tremors 4! (5/19/04)
    Hollywood's premier special effects magazine (for which S.S. Wilson once had the privilege of writing) will run a web site article on T-4 on their Weekly Update page. Check it out starting Tuesday May 25th.!


  • Tremors 4 distribution problems (3/15/04)
    As many of you know, Tremors 4 has faced some distribution problems. Certain large stores have changed their buying policies and are not ordering direct-to-video titles anymore! That's why some of you have had trouble finding it in some areas. You can always order it by going through the Stampede Store, but it wouldn't hurt to ask for it in all your usual video outlets, just to let them know people want it.


  • Tremors The Series Update. (3/15/04)
    Many many of you flooded SciFi network with emails and letters asking that they bring the series back for another season. We appreciate all you loyal followers. While SciFi remained immovable in their decision, it's you fans who have made Tremors what it is today. You alone made the studio types greenlight T-2,T-3,T-4 and the series. Thanks from all of us at Stampede.


  • Stampede FanTalk and Photo Gallery improved. (3/5/04)
    We have a new and greatly improved FanTalk forum up an running. This new forum software has a load of great features including easy addition of web links and images, upload of a personal avatar, easy use of Emoticons (the little smiley faces) and you can even set up posts as a personal survey question. You account comes with a personal mail box so you can send and receive private messages from other forum members without disclosing your email address to anyone. Stop by and give the new FanTalk a test drive, I think you will like all of the great new features.

    As an added bonus your new login will also work in the Stampede Photo Gallery (formerly called Stampede Chronicle) which has also been completely rebuilt. New features of the gallery include the ability to rate images, post comments, mark images as your personal favorites and then view them using the My Favorites button, send any image to a friend as an E-card and even upload Stampede/tremors related images your children have drawn to our new Fan Artwork gallery. Sign up and show the world those drawings mom and dad! (Be sure to tell us the name and age of your little artists.)

    We just received a list of foreign release dates for Tremors 4: The Legend Begins.

    Given this new information we have opted to reschedule the eBay auction of the Tremors 4 bicycle (see news item below) until our many loyal fans in the UK and Australia have gotten a chance to see the film.

  • Tremors 4 wheel (bicycle) to be auctioned in Late April. (2/20/04)

    The Hiram Gummer wheel (bicycle) from Tremors 4 will be auctioned on eBay in April. This is a one-of-a-kind reproduction of a classic 1886 Rover Safety Cycle. Tremors fans here is your chance to own the very bicycle ridden by Michael Gross in this film. Included with the bicycle will be an autographed photo of Michael Gross riding the bike. This will be a rare chance to own some Tremors history.

  • Dirt Dragons released. (12/15/03)
    Stampede announces the release of the video game Dirt Dragons at dirtdragons.com. Step into the footsteps of a gunfighter in 1889 and pit your skills against Dirt Dragons (Graboids). This realistic Flash game is based on the film, Tremors 4: The Legend Begins. Choose from one of four weapons used in the film. Blast away at Dirt Dragons and see how long you can survive. When you get a great score submit it to our worldwide scoreboard and see how your score compares with scores of other Tremors fans. This game is available for download so it can be played off-line or published on your own web site.

  • Tremors 4: The Legend Begins will be released January 2nd. (12/5/03)
    The release date for Tremors 4 has been set to January 2nd. As it stands right now you can preorder the DVD packaged with a copy of Tremors. This is the same price as it will be when/if it is sold separately so the copy of Tremors is basically free. We know that many of you already own a DVD of Tremors but this is just the way Universal has packaged the film so give that second copy to a friend or sell it on eBay. You can order your DVD here.

    Universal tells us that the VHS version of the film will be for rental only on January 2nd. And will not be available for sell-through until later this year. They did not have a specific date at this time and they had no word on foreign release dates for the film.


  • Tremors The Series will not return to SciFi but Tremors 4 will be here Christmas 2003. (8/8/03)
    To our loyal Tremors Fans -- GOOD NEWS/BAD NEWS. Well, fans, the numbers are in and Tremors: The Series didn't quite hit the demographics and
    market share SciFi was looking for (it was SO close!). We're sorry to report that the rumors are true, the show will not be back for a second season.

    But the Good News is that Tremors 4 will be coming soon. It's all new, all different, and Universal is extremely happy with it (as are we at Stampede, of course). They like it so much they moved its release to near Christmas, so you all know what's going to be in your stocking this year.

  • Roberts Resuscitates Long Dead Shrimp!(1/25/03)
    Nancy Roberts has written an episode for the series which makes use of one of the original Tremors Lost Monsters -- the Killer Shrimp. The episode is called "Water Hazard" and goes into production in Mexico next week! See the Lost Monsters section for a peek at the original design. KNB FX is on the fast track to create and even scarier version for the episode.

  • Christopher Lloyd to star in Tremors The Series (11/21/02)
  • *  Christopher Lloyd to star in Tremors The Series Science Fiction icon Christopher Lloyd has signed to star in two episodes of Tremors-The Series! He'll play Cletus Poffenberger, a scientist who appears in Perfection with a mysterious "pet" and even more mysterious background. Among many roles, he is well known by SciFi buffs for his role as Dr. Emmett L. Brown, the wild eyed scientist who pilots the time machine car in the Back to the Future movies.

  • Tremors Television Series Date Set! (10/17/02)
    We now have an air date! The new SCI FI series, Tremors, premieres on Friday, 1/10/03 at 10pm and repeats Saturday at 11pm and Sunday at 8pm go get the popcorn ready!!!

    Also look for a Sci Fi channel airing of Tremors 2 and Tremors 3 on Thursday, 1/9/03, from 7-11pm. What better way to kick-off the new Tremors series!
  • Tremors Television Series and 4th. Film!!! (7/16/02)
    Starting January 2003 look for the Tremors TV series on the Sci-Fi Channel. This will be an hour long show about the exploits of your favorite monster hunter Burt Gummer.


    We have also gotten the green light from Universal to produce a fourth Tremors film which we plan to start work on part way through the 2003 TV season. Yes Tremors fans the film will star Michael Gross but hang on because there will be an interesting new twist!
  • Michael Gross wins Best Actor for Tremors 3! (6/15/02)
    The inaugural Video Premiere Awards show was held October 23rd. 2001. Tremors 3 star Michael Gross took the coveted slot of Best Actor beating out some of the toughest competition Hollywood has to offer!

VB and Video Premieres magazine hosted the Video Premier Awards show at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood and donated 50% of the ticket sales from the event to the September 11th. Fund. More than 800 people attended the event hosted by KTLA-TV personality Sam Rubin. CNN newsman Larry King made a special appearance and presenters for the evening included Fred Ward, Tracy Scoggins, Morgan Rusler, Sasha Alexander and Dave Thomas.

Scott Hettrick, editor-in-chief of VB, said recognition is overdue for the original creative work being done specifically to premiere on video, both VHS and DVD.

All of us at Stampede would like to congratulate Michael for a job well done!

  • ZAP studios gets nod for T-3 sound! (6/6/02)
    The accolades keep rolling in for Tremors 3. ZAP Studios, sound designers for both Tremors 2 and Tremors 3 were nominated for a Golden Reel sound award this year. Just another example of the high caliber talent that comes to work on the Big Worm pix. Speaking of high caliber, Joe Zapalla of ZAP tells us that the thunderous sound of Burt Gummer's fifty caliber machine guns is the very same sound used in the classic film Apocalypse Now. Ex Army SP4 SSWilson says, "I remember it well!"



  • It is Official, Tremors 3 is a Sci-fi Blockbuster!!! (5/3/02)
    Tremors 3 was broadcast on the Sci-fi channel on April 14th. We found out from a Sci-fi channel press release that the airing of Tremors 3 was the 2nd highest rated show in the networks entire history. We were second only to Dune. Interesting that the two largest films both involve giant worms..

    For those of you who tuned in we would just like to give you a personal Thank You for helping make Tremors 3 an official Sci-fi Blockbuster film.
