Tremors (1990)

They say there’s nothing new under the sun. But under the ground…
If you like Sci-Fi or Horror films Tremors is simply a MUST SEE movie! This satirical 1950’s style story of giant underground monsters looking to make a meal of the residents of the small town of Perfection Nevada will keep you glued to the edge of your seat. Tremors stars Kevin Bacon, Fred Ward and Finn Carter, with amazingly comical performances by Michael Gross and Reba McEntire as Burt and Heather Gummer, the ultimate survivalists. It was written by S.S. Wilson and Brent Maddock. It was the feature directing debut for Ron Underwood, and was the true launch pad for what became Stampede Entertainment. In fact, the name Stampede was suggested by Stampede Exec V.P. Lou Malacarne, who pointed out that there were stampedes in both Tremors and Ron’s next movie, City Slickers.
