Steve Rosenbooth was among other things one of our software developers on Starship Troopers. One of the programs he developed was a collision avoidance program. Even if the puppeteers were to accidental control the puppet in the wrong way it was impossible for the puppet to cross it's own arms or jaws in such a was as to damage ether the puppet or the people around it.
