Our feeling is they poop underground, like sea creatures poop in the sea. They are inherently streamlined and leave it straight behind them as they go their merry way. It wouldn’t make sense to surface and advertise their presence to animals that are their prey. If you were unlucky enough to encounter some, it would undoubtedly smell at least as bad as the graboids themselves. Larry’s finding of the key was perhaps an anomaly.
